Release group

Description

A release group is a group of mobile platforms (e.g. all mobile platforms of a particular depot). Together with the product group that is linked to the release, the release group defines to which mobile platforms the data in the release have to be sent.

Example

A particular release is linked to product group "Validator" and release group "Depot X". As a result, the data in the release will be sent to all validators linked to the selected depot.
